How to resize image
- Drop your photo in, or tap to choose it. The current size in pixels appears straight away.
- Type the width you want - the height follows automatically while Keep aspect ratio is ticked. Or switch to Percent and drag the slider.

Resize an image to any size
Application forms want a photo under 200 KB, a website wants exactly 1200 pixels wide, WhatsApp DP wants a square. Resizing solves all three — and doing it in the browser means the photo never travels anywhere. Drop it in, type the size, download. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is kept.
Pixels or percent?
Use pixels when a form or website gives you an exact requirement, like 600×800 or "max width 1200". Use percent when you just want the picture smaller — 50% halves both sides and cuts the file to roughly a quarter, which is usually enough to get a phone photo under an upload limit.
Keeping the picture sharp
Making an image smaller is safe: detail is discarded but what remains stays crisp. Making it much larger cannot invent detail, so a small photo blown up will look soft — that is a limit of the image itself, not the tool. For photographs, JPG at quality 85–90 gives the best size-to-quality balance; for logos, screenshots and anything with sharp edges or transparency, choose PNG.

Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Enlarging cannot add detail that was never captured, so large upscales look soft.
Does it keep the aspect ratio?
Yes, while the Keep aspect ratio box is ticked. Untick it if you need an exact width and height that stretch the picture.
Which format should I choose?
JPG for photographs, PNG for logos, screenshots or transparency, WebP when you want the smallest file for a website.
