How to split pdf

Split a PDF into separate files
Sometimes you only need three pages out of a forty-page document, or a scanner has put everything into one big file when each page should stand alone. This splitter does both: pull out a page range, or break the document into one PDF per page. Pages are copied across untouched, so text stays selectable and image quality is unchanged.
Choosing pages
The range box accepts single pages and spans, separated by commas — 1-3, 5, 8-10 keeps pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9 and 10 in one new PDF, in that order. Page numbers start at 1 and anything outside the document is ignored, so a typo cannot break the result.
